New cook book

Very much looking forward to getting our latest edition to the food bookshelf which is Paul Hollywood’s Bread. The reviews are good and I like his down to earth style of writing, more to follow on that one once I have had a good read through the contents.
And on the subject of smelly yeasty things, I have got in the airing cupboard a starter for some sourdough bread which I made yesterday with some of the green grapes growing in the garden (apparently rhubarb is good too), they are not much use for anything else and I probably¬†definitely won’t be making wine from them.

The starter needs a couple more days apparently before I start feeding it but seems to be doing all the right things until now ie bubbling and getting smelly so the musty grapes are working their magic!

Oh and today’s bloomer…
